1. Why Is 2026 the "Fire Horse"?
In the Chinese zodiac, each year is associated with one of five elements (Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, Water). 2026 is a Fire Horse year, which occurs only once every 60 years! Fire Horses are considered especially dynamic, bold, and passionate—but also a little unpredictable. Legend has it that people born in a Fire Horse year are destined to lead exciting, unconventional lives.
2. The Horse in Chinese Mythology
One of the most famous horses in Chinese folklore is "Red Hare" (赤兔马), a steed so swift and loyal that it carried the warrior Guan Yu through countless battles. To this day, the Horse symbolizes loyalty, speed, and the ability to overcome any obstacle.
3. Lucky Greetings for the Year of the Horse
